Dimension an element, pressing <Enter> to choose the type of dimension. Creates all associations automatically, if Association Lock is on. |
 ![]() |
Dimension linear size (distance), with each dimension computed from the endpoint of the previous one and placed in line (chained). |
 ![]() ![]() |
Dimension distance from a common origin, with the dimensions in line (chained). |
 ![]() |
Dimension distance from a common origin, with the dimensions stacked. |
 ![]() |
Dimension the linear distance between two points (length) when you desire to use a third type of dimension line terminator and do not want to change the terminator assignments for the Dimension Size with Arrow tool or Dimension Size with Stroke tool. |
 ![]() |
Dimension the linear distance between two points and orient the dimension's y-axis interactively. |
 ![]() |
Dimension a distance perpendicularly from an element (as a separately identified point). |
 ![]() |
Dimension a distance perpendicularly from an element (at the point at which the element is identified). |
Key in DIMENSION SIZE PERPENDICULAR ELEMENT (see Dimension Size Perpendicular to Element) |
Dimension symmetric by defining center (non-associative). |
 ![]() |
Dimension one-sided by defining center. |
