Dimension Size (Custom)

Used to dimension the linear distance between two points (length) when you desire to use a third type of dimension line terminator and do not want to change the terminator assignments for the Dimension Size with Arrow tool or Dimension Size with Stroke tool.

This tool works identically to the Dimension Size with Arrow tool.

Tool Setting	Effect
Style	Displays the active dimension style. The drop-down list box allows you to select other available dimension styles.
Magnifying glass icon	Opens the Dimension Styles dialog box, which is used to control settings for dimensioning.
Alignment	Determines the axis along which the dimension is aligned.
Association	If on, snapping a tentative point to the element being dimensioned causes an association point to be created. If off, no associations are created.
