Saved View Selector Settings

Below we will describe how to change MP Saved View Selector settings. Enter MP SELECTOR SETTINGS key-in and the Settings dialog box will be opened. This dialog box was designed to change settings for MP Saved View Selector and MP Saved View Manager simultaneously. Settings which influence on MP Saved View Selector’s behavior are only on pages Display and Models.

Display

The “Display Mode” option changes behavior of application when user selects Saved View from the list of Saved Views. The following modes are available:

Mode

How it works

Allow to display different models in views

The Default. When Saved View of the current model or reference model was selected, then model of the View (defined by “View Number” option) is not changed. When Saved View of non-active models of the current file is activated, then this model becomes active in the View.

Do not switch models of views

Selecting of Saved View does not activates any models in any views. Selecting of Saved Views only show picture of Saved View in the View.

Switch to the model of Saved View

When user selects Saved View from saved view list, then Saved View Selector completely activates model of Saved View (open file and model of saved view).

Switch to the model of Saved View (not for References)

When user selects Saved View from saved view list, then Saved View Selector completely activates model of Saved View (open file and model of saved view). This does not work for reference models – their Saved Views are shown in the current model.

Models

Here you can set models, which will be searched for Saved View when Saved View Selector will build Saved View list.

    • “Current Model” – include Saved Views from the current model to Saved View list
    • “Master File Models …” – include Saved Views from non-active models of the current file to Saved View list
    • “References” – include Saved Views from reference models to Saved View list
