Used to control the operation of the Batch Print utility. Opens when File > Batch Print is chosen.
Displays the currently selected specifications for Printer, Print Area, Layout, and Display.
Displays the currently selected DGN files and models for batch printing.
Clears the design file list in preparation for creation of a new job set file.
Opens the Open Job Set File dialog box, which is used to open an existing job set file.
Saves the open job set file. If a job set file is not loaded, opens the Save Job Set File dialog box. The effect is same as choosing File > Save As.
Opens the Print dialog box, which is used for printing design files.
Opens the Select Design Files to Add dialog box which is used to add design files to the current job set.
Removes the selected design file from the current job set. This icon is usable only if the Design Files to Print list contains one or more design files.
Opens the Edit Model Name or Description dialog box, which is used to edit the model name and/or the Description.
Opens the Select Specification dialog box of the type selected in the Print Specification list box, which is used to select a different specification of that type.
Opens the Properties dialog box of the type selected in the Specifications Controlling Printing list box.
Opens the Batch Print Specification Manager dialog box, which is used to create, copy, rename, and delete print specifications.
Clears the design file list in preparation for creation of a new job set file. The effect is the same as selecting the New icon.
Opens the Open Job Set File dialog box, which is used to open an existing job set file. The effect is the same as selecting the Open icon.
Saves the current job set file. The effect is the same as selecting the Save icon.
Opens the Save Job Set File dialog box, which is used to save a job set file by a different name than the original file.
Opens the Print Batch dialog box, which is used to print design files. This item is only enabled if a design file has already been added to the list in the Design Files to Print list box. The effect is the same as selecting the Print icon.
Closes the Batch Print dialog box.
Opens the Select Design Files to Add dialog box, which is used to add design files to the current job set. The effect is the same as selecting the Add Design Files icon.
Alternatively, you can drag and drop design files into the Batch Print list box from Windows Explorer. Similarly, you can drag and drop models into the list box from the Models dialog of either the active file, or another open session of MicroStation.
Adds the active design file to the current job set.
Removes a design file from the job set. This is only active when a design file is selected. The effect is the same as selecting the Remove Design Files icon.
Opens the Edit Model Name or Description dialog box for the selected entry, which is used to edit the model name and/or the Description.
Opens the Edit Design File Paths dialog box, which is used to replace the pathname of list of files. For example, you could change the path of a list of files from “c:\tmp” to “d:\dgnfiles.”
Moves the selected design file(s) to the top of the file list. This item is only enabled when a design file(s) is selected and not already at the top of the list.
Moves the selected design file(s) up one in the file list. This item is only enabled when a design file(s) is selected and not already at the top of the list.
When files are sorted in ascending order on the # column, you can click and drag one or more files in the list box to the required location. |

Opens the Select Specification dialog box of the type selected in the Specifications Controlling Printing list box, which is used to select a different print specification of that type. The effect is the same as selecting the Select Specification icon.
Opens the Properties dialog box of the type selected in the Specifications Controlling Printing list box. The effect is the same as selecting the Specification Properties icon.
Opens the Batch Print Specification Manager dialog box. The effect is the same as selecting the Manage Specification icon.
