Dimension Radius

Use it!

Used to dimension the radius of a circle or a circular arc.

Style

Displays the active dimension style. The drop-down list box allows you to select other available dimension styles.

Magnifying glass icon

Opens the Dimension Styles dialog box, which is used to control settings for dimensioning.

Association

  • If on, an association point is created.

  • If off, no associations are created.

To dimension the radius of a circle or arc
  1. Select the Dimension Radius tool.

  2. Identify the circle or arc.

  3. Enter a data point to position the dimension.

  4. If the dimension is to be placed outside the circle and Location is set to Manual, enter another data point(s) to form a multi-segment leader line. Reset to complete the dimension.

    Dimension Radius. Left, inside circle. Center, outside circle with Location set to Automatic. Right, outside circle with Location set to Manual.
