Contains controls for setting the name, type, and origin of the active ACS, if one exists.
Sets the name of the active ACS so it can be saved for future attachment. The name is limited to 512 characters; only the alphabetic and numeric characters and the “$”, “.”, and “_” characters are valid. The mixed case is preserved, but the search is case sensitive.
Using names that take advantage of the new limits and character sets will make exporting to previous versions more difficult. Either names will be truncated or a remapping utility will be required. |
Sets the type of active ACS (rectangular, cylindrical, or spherical). See 3D auxiliary coordinate systems for information about ACS types.
Sets the optional description of the active ACS — limited to 511 characters from those that are allowed for the ACS Name, plus the space character.
Sets the location in the global coordinate system where ACS is defined as 0:0:0. To move the active ACS, key in the coordinates in the Origin fields, or use the Move ACS (can be activated by choosing Move from the Tools menu in the ACS dialog box).
Saves the active ACS for future attachment. The active ACS's Name, Name, and Description then appear in the List box list box.
The Save button is dimmed if an ACS is not active.
Key-in: SAVE ACS <name> [, description]
The ACS attachment (the settings that specify the active ACS and its origin) cannot be saved. |
