Used to modify a Text component definition. Opens when a Text component is selected and Modify is chosen from the Edit menu in the Edit Settings dialog box. The title bar identifies the component.
Except where described here, the controls are described in Modify component dialog boxes — common controls.
If on, sets the angle, in degrees, by which subsequently placed text will be slanted when the component is selected in the Select Settings window.
If on, sets the Active Line Length when the component is selected in the Select Settings window.
If on and using a MicroStation resource font, numeric characters separated by a slash (/) are placed as single characters (numerator over denominator).
If on, orients text vertically.
If on, underlines text.
If on, sets the position of the text relative to its origin (the position where the data point is entered ).
If on, set the position of a text node relative to its origin (the position where the data point is entered).
Sets the active text height — the height, in working units, of text upon placement.
Sets the active text width — the width, in working units, of text upon placement.
Sets the distance, in working units, between characters in text when placed.
Sets the active line space — the vertical spacing, in working units, between:
Lines in a multi-line text element (text node) when it is placed.
Text and an identified element, when the Place Text tool is used with any of these methods: Above Element, Below Element, or Along Element.
