Modify Area Pattern Component dialog box

Used to modify an Area Pattern component definition. Opens when an Area Pattern component is selected and Modify is chosen from the Edit menu in the Edit Settings dialog box. The title bar identifies the component.

Associative

If on, the pattern is associated with the patterned element. This means that whenever the element is dified or manipulated, the pattern automatically is updated.

Type

Sets the pattern type — (Active) Pattern (Cell) or Hatch (or crosshatch).

Row

Sets the interval between rows in the pattern.

Column

Sets the interval between columns in the pattern.

Spacing 1, Spacing 2

Sets the interval between the lines used for hatching and crosshatching.

Angle 1, Angle 2

Sets the angle for the lines used for hatching and crosshatching.
