These controls are visible only while a point symbol component is selected in the Components list box.
Affects the display color of the symbol associated with the selected stroke or vertex.
Affects the line weight for display of the symbol associated with the selected stroke or vertex.
Controls whether and how the associated symbol displays if the selected stroke is a partial stroke. (For any given stroke, there are instances where only a fraction of the stroke displays — for example, at the beginning or end of the element or a segment of the element.)
If on and the selected stroke is partial, the symbol is clipped (truncated) at the same point where the stroke is clipped. This is useful for preventing the symbol from extending beyond the range of a partial stroke.
If on and the selected (variable length) stroke is stretched, the symbol is stretched (scaled only in the direction of the stroke) by the same factor as the stroke. If off, the symbol cannot be stretched.
Sets the location of the origin of the associated symbol on the selected stroke.
X Offset and Y Offset are horizontal and vertical offsets from the chosen location. |
Sets the horizontal offset (distance), from the location set with the Justify option menu, by which the origin of the associated symbol is located on the selected stroke. The distance is specified in master units measured in the direction of the stroke pattern (x-axis).
Sets the vertical offset (distance), from the location set with the Justify option menu, by which the origin of the associated symbol is located on the selected stroke. The distance is specified in master units measured in the direction perpendicular to the stroke pattern (x-axis) and its plane.
Affects the rotation of the symbol attached to the selected stroke or vertex.
Sets the counterclockwise rotation angle, in degrees, for the symbol attached to the selected stroke or vertex. The exact effect of the angle depends on the Rotation.
Opens the Select Point Symbol dialog box, which is used to select a symbol with which to associate with the selected stroke.
For information about creating a symbol, see To create a point symbol. |
Lists names of all symbols in the open line style library. The selected point symbol displays below the list box.
Cancels the association between a symbol and the selected stroke or vertex.
Opens the Create Point Symbol dialog box, which is used to create a point symbol.
