Text category controls

or

Left Margin

Sets the horizontal space in text height units, between the leader line and the dimension text.

Lower Margin

Text Style

Sets the text style which controls the dimension text. Dimensions placed using a text style will be automatically updated if the text style is modified. Clicking the magnifying glass icon next to the Text Style field opens the Text Styles dialog box.

Some text attributes can be directly controlled by the dimension style. For example, if the text height and width are set on the dimension style, these values will override the height and width of the text style.

Using a text style allows you to take advantage of advanced text style properties that are not otherwise available for dimensions, ex. italics and background color.

Attributes

Contains controls that can be used to override the Dimension Lines settings and the active settings for color and line weight for dimension text, and also the active text Font, Height and Width.
