Used to create and modify text styles placed in a design file. Also sets the active text attributes. Opens when Element menu > Text Styles is selected. The active text style is the style currently selected.
Displays a tree representation of the text style hierarchies.
The Hierarchy Tree contains a right–click menu.
The New Child option creates a new style (under the Parent ) with the same settings as the Parent Style. If any settings are changed on the child, they appear in blue on the General tab indicating an override to the Parent Style.
Activate, Save, Copy, Rename, Delete and Reset are identical to the items on the Style menu.
Creates a new “Untitled” text style in the Text Styles list box. Inherits all of the text attributes from the Active text style by default.
Makes the selected text style the active text style.
Saves the Active text style and all of its settings.
Creates a copy of the Active text style in the Text Styles list box. Inherits all of the attributes of the active text style by default.
Highlights the selected text style so it can be renamed.
Deletes the Active text style.
Removes text style override(s) and resets the style to its previously saved version.
Saves changes made to multiple text styles.
Opens the Text Style Import dialog box for importing test styles.
Update line styles from an attached line style library.
Closes the Text Styles dialog box.
Toggles on/off the Hierarchy Tree.
If on, displays the text style in the Preview panel.
If on and the Preview is on, displays user defined text in the active text style in the Preview panel.
Refreshes the display of the text style.
