Compress > Design

Reduces the size of the open DGN file by purging empty and unused data resources of the types selected in the Compress Options dialog box (File > Compress > Options) and clears the application's undo buffer.

Key-in: COMPRESS DESIGN CONFIRM

Unless Design History is being recorded, compressing prevents previous changes from being undone.

There is a user preference to compress the design file on exit.
