Compress Options dialog box

Used to purge empty and unused data resources from the open DGN file as well as deleted elements. Opens when File > Compress > Options is chosen.

resource types list

Contains check boxes used to select the types of empty and unused data resources to delete:

• empty cell headers

• empty text elements

• text elements that contain only space characters

• unused shared cells

• unused line styles

• unused dimension styles

• unused text styles

• unused levels

• unused fonts

Compress

Purges the empty and unused data resources of the selected types from the open DGN file.

OK

Accepts the changes to the list of selected empty and unused data resource types and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Discards changes to the list of selected empty and unused data resource types and closes the dialog box.

Apply

Applies the changes to the list of selected empty and unused data resource types.

Choosing File > Compress > Design deletes the empty and unused data resources of the types selected in this dialog box.
