Show/Edit Flag

Use it!

Used to display or edit the explanatory message for a flag(s).

To display or edit a flag's explanatory message
  1. Select the flag(s).

  2. Select the Show/Edit Flag tool.
    The Define Flag Information dialog box opens.

  3. (Optional) In the dialog box, edit the message text.

  4. When done, click OK. If you selected more than one flag, return to step 3; flags are processed in the order in which they were selected.

Alternative Method — To display or edit a flag's explanatory message
  1. Select the Show/Edit Flag tool.

  2. Identify the flag.

  3. Accept the flag.
    The Define Flag Information dialog box opens.

  4. (Optional) In the dialog box, edit the message text.

  5. Click OK.
