Script Target


Use it!

Used to specify the frame interval during which to use an animation camera target. During the specified interval, the active camera is aimed toward the origin of the identified target. A target can be any existing target or other actor. After selecting the target, the Script Target dialog box lets you enter the scripting details.

When working with this tool, you can identify actors, graphically, as targets or you can double-click their names in the list box that appears when Display Actor List is on.

If on, a list box containing the names of existing actors and targets is displayed. An actor (or target) must be selected, either from this list or graphically, before the Script Target dialog box opens.

Actor Name

Displays the name of the actor chosen as a target.

Begin Frame

Sets the frame to begin using the selected target.

End Frame

Sets the last frame to use the selected target.

Disabled

If on, the script entry is disabled and displays in red in the Animation Producer dialog box.

OK

Accepts the values and inserts the script entry into the Animation Producer dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without inserting the script entry into the Animation Producer dialog box.

To specify the frame interval during which to use a target
  1. Select the Script Target tool.

  2. Identify the target.
    The Script Target dialog box opens.

  3. In the Begin Frame field, key in the first frame.

  4. In the End Frame field, key in the last frame.

  5. Click the OK button.
    The script entry is added to the list in the Animation Producer dialog box.
