Detach Actor

Used to detach an actor (that is, negate the result of the Attach Actor tool). When detaching an actor that has other actors attached to it, they remain attached to it.

When working with this tool, you can identify and accept the actors graphically, or you can double-click their names in the list box that appears when Display Actor List is on.

Tool Setting	Effect
Display Actor List	If on, a list box containing the names of existing actors is displayed. See Working with actors.

To detach an actor

Select the Detach Actor tool.

Identify the actor.
The actor highlights. If there are attached actors, they too highlight.

Accept the actor(s).
