Lighting

Contains controls for turning source lighting on/off in the active model and references. With this tab section of the Rendering Setup dialog box, you can work with individual lighting entries, or select multiple entries to change the on/off status of several light sources at once. Select single entries with a data point, additional individual entries with <Ctrl>-data points, or all entries between the previous and current selections with a <Shift>-data point. Additionally, you can click-drag through the list to select multiple consecutive entries.

Light Name

Displays the names of light sources contained in the active model, plus the names of references that contain light sources. Clicking the + next to a reference file displays the individual light sources in the reference.

On

Displays the on/off status of the light sources. A checkmark indicates that the light source is on. You can toggle a light source on/off by clicking its On column to display/hide the checkmark.

Similarly, by clicking on its On column, you can turn on/off a reference's lighting setup. This is the same as turning on/off Use Lights when you attach a reference. You cannot control the on/off status for individual light sources in a reference.

References that are “off” are displayed in grey, as are their light sources (when displayed). Their light sources still may have a checkmark, signifying that they are on in the reference, but displayed grey to show that they are off for the active model.

Right-click menu

You can select one or more entries in the Lighting list box and then right-click to open a menu with the following options:
