MicroStation enables you to work with redline files created with Bentley Redline.
The redline file is a special type of reference. If a redline file is attached to the open DGN file, it is automatically detached when the DGN file is closed.
 | The RDL_DIR configuration variable can be set to automatically locate and display redline files created in Bentley Redline. The default is the <ActiveFileName>.rdl in the same directory as the active DGN file.RDL_DIR allows you to define alternate directories and/or file extensions. |
