Configuring the Driver

Configuration and setup of the software to access the appropriately configured tablet consists of selecting four fields in the Bentley Tablet Driver dialog box.
To configure and set up a tablet
  1. Double-click "wintab.exe" in File Manager or Explorer, or start wintab from a Command Prompt window.

  2. Select the specific tablet.

  3. Select the tablet dimensions.

  4. Select the number of buttons on your tablet's puck.

  5. Select the COM port that the tablet is attached.

  6. Click OK.

Testing the tablet and configuration

Double-click wintab.exe. Move the puck around the tablet. The screen pointer should track the motion of the puck. If the screen pointer does not track the puck motion, see Trouble Shooting.
