Attach Displayable Attributes

Used to assign an empty text node as a displayable attribute text node that can be designated to display attribute data with the Load Displayable Attributes tool.


Use it!

A special database linkage is attached to the text node: the database linkage is informational and cannot contribute to reports.

To designate a displayable attribute text node
  1. Select the Attach Displayable Attributes tool.

  2. Identify the element to which the desired database row is attached.

  3. Accept the element.
    If Confirm Rows is on in the Database dialog box, the first row attached to the element is displayed in the SQL Window. If there is more than one attached row, you can click the Next button the reject rows. To accept a row as the row to attach to the text node, click the Accept button or press <CTRL-A>. To return to step 2, click the Stop button.

  4. Identify the empty text node.
    If Confirm Rows is off, the first row attached to the element is attached to the text node as well.
