Define Active Entity Graphically


Use it!

Used to set a database row as the Active Entity. Once an active entity is defined, it can be attached to an element or edited.

To set a database row as the Active Entity
  1. Select the Define Active Entity Graphically tool.

  2. Identify an element to which the database row is attached.

  3. Accept the element.
    If Confirm Rows is off in the Database dialog box, the first row attached to the element is set as the Active Entity.
    If Confirm Rows is on, the first row is displayed in the SQL Window.

  4. If there is more than one attached row, you can click the Next button to reject rows. To accept a row as the Active Entity, click the Accept button. To return to step 2, click the Stop button.
