Attach Active Entity

Use it!

Used to attach the Active Entity to an element or set of elements using the Use Fence setting for fence operations. Table rows can be attached to any type of simple or complex element, and a single element can have multiple linkages to multiple tables.

The Linkage Mode is set in the Database dialog box, which is opened by choosing Database from the Settings menu.

Linkage Mode	Active Entity is
New	Copied and added to the database as a new row and attached to the identified element.
Any besides New	A row in the database, not a prototype row. The row itself is attached to the element, not a copy.

To attach the Active Entity to an element

1. Select the Attach Active Entity tool.


2. Identify the element to which to attach the Active Entity.


3. Accept the element.
