WINDOW CHANGESCREEN

Used to move the display of a window, such as a view window, dialog box, or tool box, from one application window to the other application window. This applies only when there are two application windows open.

(To open two application windows, turn on the Open Two Application Windows setting (Workspace > Preferences > Operation).)

To move a view window, dialog box, or tool box to the other application window
  1. Key in WINDOW CHANGESCREEN <window_name>.
    <window_name>is the name on the window's title bar.
    For example, to display the Main tool box in the other application window, enter WINDOW CHANGESCREEN Main.
    View windows can be identified only by number. For example, to move the View 2 window to the other application window, enter WINDOW CHANGESCREEN 2.

  2. To see the title of a docked window, temporarily undock (move) it.
