Delete Element

Use it!

Used to delete an element(s) from the design.

To delete an element

Select the element(s) to be deleted.

Select the Delete Element tool.
or
Press the <Delete> key.

Alternative Method — To delete an element

Select the Delete Element tool.

Identify the element to be deleted.

Accept the deletion.

Key-in: DELETE ELEMENT

To un-delete an element(s), choose Undo (action) from the Edit menu. The number of deletions (and other changes) that can be undone is limited by the size of the Undo buffer.

To delete many elements, it is often more efficient to use the Delete Fence Contents tool in the Fence tool box.
