New Configuration Variable dialog box

Used to name and define a new configuration variable. Opens when New is clicked in the Configuration dialog box.

Variable

Sets the name of the configuration variable. If lowercase characters are keyed in, they will be automatically converted to uppercase.

New Value

Sets the configuration variable definition. For information about the syntax of definitions, see Configuration Variable File Syntax.

Expansion

Shows the expansion of the configuration variable.

OK

Accepts the configuration variable definition, closes the dialog box, and inserts the configuration variable into the list of All configuration variables in the Configuration dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without creating a configuration variable.
