Edit Configuration Variable dialog box

Used to directly edit the value, expressed as a text string, of the selected configuration variable. Opens when Select is clicked in the Configuration dialog box.

Variable

Shows the configuration variable that is selected in the Configuration dialog box.

Edit Mode

Options for editing the variable are Overwrite, Append, Prepend.

New Value

Sets the configuration variable definition. For more information about the syntax of definitions, see User configuration variables.

Expansion

Shows the expansion of the configuration variable with the actual specifications for directories, paths, and files.

OK

Accepts the changes to the configuration variable definition and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without changing the configuration variable definition.
