Used to create a MicroStation BASIC macro by capturing operator input. Actions captured include commands, data points, Resets, and key-ins. During the creation of a macro, Create Macro… changes to End Macro. Opens when Utilities > Create Macro is chosen.
Sets the name of the macro being created. The maximum allowed length is 8 characters.
Assigns a free-form description to the macro being created.
Selects the directory where the newly created macro will be saved. The options provided are limited to the directories specified by the MS_MACRO configuration variable.
Initiates the interactive process of creating a macro.
A small dialog box containing three buttons appears on the screen. This is a control dialog for the macro generator; the buttons are used for pausing, resuming, and stopping the macro generator. Clicking the Stop button is the equivalent of choosing End Macro from the Utilities menu.
Cancels the operation and closes the dialog box.
