DWG > Audit

Scans a DWG and/or DXF file, and generates a report on the number of objects audited and the number of errors found. If errors are found, an alert box asks if you would like to correct the error.

Options for running DWG Audit:

• To run DWG Audit on multiple DWG files, set up and run a batch process (Utilities > Batch Process). In the command file, key in:

  dmsg action ok

  mdl keyin DWGDIRECTAPP DWG AUDIT

  The first line (dmsg action ok) dismisses the DWG/DXF Units alert dialog box that appears when you open a DWG file. If you have turned off the display of this dialog box, do not add this line to the command file.

• To run DWG Audit without being prompted to fix errors, use the DWG AUDIT FIX key-in.
