Extract Archive Files dialog box

Used to select the path where an extracted file will be stored, as well as to select a few associated parameters. Opens when the Extract Files icon is selected on the Archive dialog box.

Number of Files

Indicates the number of files highlighted in the Archive dialog box.

Current Free Space

Indicates available space on the currently selected disk.

Expanded Size

Indicates the number of bytes in the extracted (un-compressed) files.

Create Stored Directories

If on, the path to which a file is extracted consists of the path displayed in the Extract To section concatenated with the path saved with the compressed path. The latter path is displayed in the Archive dialog box's Path field.

Overwrite Existing Files

If on, extracted files are allowed to overwrite existing files with the same name.

Preserve Date/Time

If on, the date/time of the extracted file will be copied from the compressed file, preserving its original values.

Extract To

The Select browse button opens the Extract To dialog box, a standard MicroStation file select dialog box, used to select the path where the extracted file will be stored. The path selected will be displayed to the left of the Select button.

OK

Accepts the settings, closes the Extract Archive Files dialog box, and starts de-compressing the selected files (displays the Working dialog box, which indicates the percent of archiving completed, until extracting completes).

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without changing any settings.
