By default, solutions created from the Default model are given a name in the format “<DGN file name>.rad”. Solutions created from models other than Default are given a name in the format “<DGN file name>_<model name>.rad”.

Controls in this dialog box are similar to those in the Open dialog box.

File > Save Solution

Opens the Save Rendering Database dialog box, which is used to save a radiosity solution. By default, solutions created from the Default model are given a name in the format “<DGN file name>.rad”. Solutions created from models other than Default are given a name in the format “<DGN file name>_<model name>.rad”.

Controls in this dialog box are similar to those in the Save As dialog box.

File > Clear Solution

(Available only if a solution is present in memory) Clears the radiosity solution from memory. Prior to clearing, you are prompted to confirm or cancel the deletion. After clearing, the radiosity solution will need to be regenerated the next time you render a view (with Render Mode set to Radiosity).

Key-in: RADIOSITY CLEARDATABASE

Choose Clear Solution in order to include modifications to the design (including lighting and material definitions) made after the last solution was processed.
