Preview

Contains controls for the material preview window.

Size

If on, lets you set define the size, in master units, of the example object in the material preview window.

Display

Sets the object used to display the material in the preview window. Options are: Sphere, Rectangle, Cylinder, or Cube.

Refresh

Controls the frequency of updating the material preview.

• Automatic
— Updates the preview after a value has been entered, or after a slider control has been released.

• Continuous
— Updates the preview as material values are being modified, such as while a slider is in motion. This setting, which is the default, provides maximum feedback and control.

• Manual
— Updates the preview only when you click the preview window.

Image Size

Displays the size, in pixels, of the image file used for the map.

Image Depth

Displays the color depth of the image file used for the map.
