Edit Dimension Styles dialog box

Used to create, edit, and delete dimension styles. Opens when Style > Dimension is chosen in the Edit Settings dialog box.

List box

Lists the names and descriptions of dimension styles in the open settings file. To delete a dimension style or change its name or description, you must first select it.

Name

Sets the name of the selected dimension style.

Description

Sets the description of the selected dimension style.

Get Active

Creates a dimension style consisting of the active dimension settings. The Dimension Placement dialog box (Element menu > Dimensions) contains controls for adjusting the active dimension settings. Upon creation, the style is named “Dim#” and is automatically selected in the list box.

Delete…

Deletes the selected dimension style. An alert box opens to confirm the deletion.
