Text Styles dialog box Icons

Contains controls that create modify text styles.

Toggle Hierarchy Tree

Toggles the display of Text Styles and child styles. If on, the tree displays on the left hand side of the dialog box. If off, Text Styles can be selected by clicking on the down arrow next to the Hierarchy Tree icon. The Text Styles and child styles display in a pull-down list until one is selected.

New

Creates a new “Untitled” text style in the Text Styles list box. Inherits all of the text attributes from the Active text style by default.

Save

Saves the Active text style and all of its settings.

Copy

Creates a copy of the Active text style in the Text Styles list box. Inherits all of the attributes of the active text style by default.

Delete

Deletes the Active text style.

Reset Style

Removes text style override(s) and resets the style to its previously saved version.

Activate

Activates the selected Text Style.

Toggle Preview

Toggles on/off the preview window which allows the style name to appear using the font selected for that style.
