Generate Reports dialog box

Used to select report template files and to generate report files using the selected templates on tags attached to elements and on graphical element attributes. Opens when Element > Tags > Generate Reports is chosen.

If the fence is placed, only elements contained in the fence are reported. If elements are selected (and the fence is not placed), only the selected elements are reported. An individual report template file may further restrict reporting to elements that have tags attached.

Except where described below, the dialog box controls are analogous to those in the Save As dialog box (File menu > Save As…).

Templates for Reports

Lists report template files for which report files are generated, one report file per template.

Add

Adds the report template file selected in the Files list box to the Templates for Reports list box.

Remove

Removes the report template file selected in the Templates for Reports list box from the list.

Done

Generates a report file for each template in the Templates for Reports list box and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without generating any report files.
