Consists of controls for settings that affect the unit display format in dimension text.
Unit Format category controls | |
The Angle Format section contains controls that are used to adjust settings that affect angular dimension text.
The Metric Format section contains controls that are used to adjust settings that affect the display of dimension values.
The Primary section contains controls that are used to set the settings for primary dimension text.
The Secondary section contains controls that are used to set the settings for secondary dimension text.
Sets the type of measurement for angular dimensions

Length |
The length, in working units. |
Degrees |
The angle, in degrees, encompassed by the arc. |
Key-in: DIMENSION UNITS [DEGREES | LENGTH]
Sets the accuracy, from zero to six decimal places, of angular dimension text. This control is disabled (dimmed) if (Angle) Units is set to Length.

The centesimal system measures a right angle by dividing it into 100 equal parts. Units are referred to as “grades,” “grads” or “centesimal degrees.”
The centesimal degree option (C.CCCC) only displays correctly in MicroStation SE or later. The values of centesimal degree dimensions displayed in older versions of MicroStation (or plotted by software based on older versions of MicroStation) revert back to decimal (sexagesimal) degree units. This control is disabled (dimmed) if (Angle) Units is set to Length. |
If Leading Zero is on, dimension text for a dimension of less than 1.0 is preceded by a leading zero.
If Trailing Zeros is on, dimension text is filled with zeros, if necessary, to the number of decimal places specified by the Accuracy.
If on, decimal points in dimension text displayed in the metric format are replaced with commas to conform to European standards.
Sets the separator format after the thousandths and millionths.
If on, primary dimension text for a dimension of less than 1.0 is preceded by a leading zero.
If on, primary dimension text is filled with zeros, if necessary, to the number of decimal places specified by the Accuracy.
If on, secondary dimension text for a dimension of less than 1.0 is preceded by a leading zero.
If on, secondary dimension text is filled with zeros, if necessary, to the number of decimal places specified by the Accuracy.
If toggled on, stacked fractions are used.
If set to On, uses the Stacked Fractions settings. If set to Off, the fractions format is determined by the active text style.
Opens the Stack Fractions dialog box, which lets you set parameters for stacked fractions.
From Font sets the fraction type using the traditional MicroStation (not TrueType) font.
Horizontal and Diagonal set the type of stacked fraction for TrueType fonts.
