Object

This menu item is dimmed unless you have a linked or embedded object selected in a DGN file. When an object is selected, the Object title changes to reflect the type of file selected. For example, if you select a linked Excel worksheet, the Object submenu title changes to Microsoft Excel Worksheet.

The Object submenu options also change depending on object type and reflect the capabilities of the currently selected object. For example, if you select a linked Excel worksheet, you have the submenu options to Edit or Open; if you select a Media Clip object, you have option to Play (as well as Edit and Open).
