Add Recipient Certificate dialog box

Used to create certificate-based “recipient” licenses that allow access to protected files.

Add Recipient Certificate dialog box

Certificates

Name of the certificate being added to access this protected file.

Choose Certificate icon

Opens the Certificates dialog box to select a digital certificate from his personal certificate store.

Certificate files icon

Opens the Certificate files dialog box to identify a signed E-mail message file (.msg) or a certificate file (.cer or .p7)

Recipient

Name of the recipient being added to the certificate.

Purpose

Purpose of the license.

Rights

Type of access assigned to this recipient.

• View
— The recipient has view access to the file.

• Edit
— The recipient has edit access to the file.

• Export
— The recipient has export access to the file.

• Print
— The recipient has print access to the file.

• Unlimited
— The recipient has unlimited access to the file.

• Restricted Applications
— This checkbox is automatically selected if less than unlimited rights are chosen. It serves as a warning that a consequence of this selection is that it may restrict the applications a user can load.

Expires

Date the license expires.

URL

URL to the license rights if an authentication URL is attached to the file.

OK

Adds the Recipient to the Certificate.

Cancel

Closes the Add Recipient Certificate dialog box without adding the recipient to the certificate.
