Layout Specification Properties dialog box

Specifications > Properties opens the Default Properties dialog box.

Used to describe how Batch Print determines the size and position of each printed output.

Print Size/Scale

Determines the size and scale of the printed output.

Defines the size method of the printed output.

Method

Description

Maximize

Makes the size of printed output as large as possible given the paper size and orientation in the job set's Printer specification.

Scale

Specifies a scale factor that maps the master units on the output media. The size of printed output is calculated from this scale and the size of the print area.

% of Maximum Size

Specifies an integer between 10 and 100 inclusive to make each printed output some percentage of its maximum size.

X Size

Specifies an explicit X size (width) for the printed output. The Y size (height) is calculated from this scale and the printout area's aspect ratio.

Y Size

Specifies an explicit Y size (height) for the printed output. The X size (width) is calculated from this scale and the printout area's aspect ratio.

Print Origin

Indicates location of the printout origin.

Determines the origin of each printout to the output media.

Description

Center

Centers each printout to the output media.

Manual Offset

Specifies an explicit X and Y offset for the printed output relative to the media's lower left margin.

Units

Units in which the X Size and Y Size methods are measured.

OK

Accepts the selected layout properties.

Cancel

Closes the Default Properties dialog box without accepting the selected properties.
