Use System Printer

Selects MicroStation's printer.plt as the printer driver. If selected, the dialog box shrinks to only show the Printer section.

Print to

Name

Opens the Print Filename Format dialog box for changing the format of the print file. By default, print files are named after the design with a three-digit numeric extension. Multiple print files from the same design file are distinguished by incrementing this numeric extension (for example, abc.000, abc.001, abc.002).

Directory

Defines the directory where the print file is output. The default is defined in the configuration variable MS_PLTFILES.

Browse

Opens the Select Print File Output Directory to redirect the path of the output print file.

Print Cmd

Defines an operating system command to execute with each generated print file.

Port

Keying in a name has the same effect as adding a default_outFile=filename record to the printer driver.

Print document set to single file

For use with the PDF printer driver, or any other driver that contains the "document_set" keyword. If the driver is document-capable, the checkbox lets you decide whether or not to group the pages in the document set.

Batch Print now supports a document set output filename edit field, intended for use with the new PDF printer driver, in both the printer specification (default value) and the print dialog (per-plot override). The edit field is enabled when the document set checkbox is checked. This control allows the user to specify a document set filename that is different than the automatically-generated filename of the first job in the set. This edit field is optional; if empty, the filename for the first job is used for the document set.

Default document set output filename (optional)

(Enabled only when Print document set to single file is checked) For use with the PDF printer driver. Lets you specify a document set filename that is different from the automatically-generated filename of the first job in the set. This edit field is optional; if empty, the filename for the first job is used for the document set.

OK

Accepts the selected printer properties.

Cancel

Dismisses the Default Properties dialog box without accepting the selected properties.
