Used to set print output options. Opens when you click the Print Attributes icon, or when you select Settings > Print Attributes in the Print dialog box.

If on, the reference boundaries are printed.
(3D files only) If on, the camera is on for the printed output.
(3D files only) Toggles the display of elements and parts of elements located outside a 3D view's back clipping plane. If on, a back clipping plane is active in a view.
(3D files only) Toggles the display of elements and parts of elements located outside a 3D view's front clipping plane. If on, a front clipping plane is active in a view.
Toggles the display of elements and parts of elements located outside a defined Clip Volume for a given view. If on, and a clip volume has been applied to the view, the view volume is restricted to the defined volume. If no clip volume has been applied to the view, it has no effect.
If on, construction elements are printed.
If on, dimensions placed in the specified area are printed.
If on, data fields are printed.
If on, you can select a group of elements to display in selected views.
If on, cells are displayed as outlines.
Turning Fast Cells on can decrease printing time. |
If on, curve elements appear as line strings (with line segments connecting the vertices). If off, curves are smooth.
If on, all text elements in MicroStation-supplied fonts are displayed in the fast font, and text elements in industry-standard fonts are displayed as outlines — that is, without fill. A font library can have only one Fast character font and one Fast symbol font. Since text elements generally require more time to update than most other element types, turning Fast Font on can decrease printing time.
If on, closed shapes with fill are printed with fill.
If on, printed uses level symbology.
If on, elements are printed with their assigned line styles.
If on, elements are printed with their assigned line weights.
If on, patterns placed in the specified area are printed.
If on, tags are printed.
If on, text placed in the specified area is printed.
If on, text node indicators placed in the specified area are printed.
If on, elements are printed that have lost their associativity when the weight and/or style have changed.
If on, a border is printed. This setting is on by default if the printer driver file has a BORDER record.
To print with no border by default, remove (or comment) the BORDER record from the printer driver file. |
If on (and Entity menu > Fence is also on), the bounding fence is printed.
Sets the comment (up to 40 characters) that is printed just outside the drawing. If the drawing occupies the entire printable area, the comment is visible only if enough space remains within the printer's clip limits. About 1/4 inch is necessary. Most printer driver files specify a printable area with enough space.
Accepts the settings and closes the dialog box.
Closes the dialog box, ignoring any changes made to the settings in the dialog box.
