Contains controls that are used to affect the resolution and computation time of the Fast or Exact method processing.
These controls are available on the Export Visible Edges and Hidden Line Settings dialog boxes.
Controls the precision to which hidden line removal processing performs internal calculations. In general, most calculations are exact (accurate); however, in some cases it is faster to produce approximate results. If the options Low, Medium or High are selected, the accuracy is computed accordingly, based on the size of the view to be processed. Selecting High Accuracy will produce higher quality output at the expense of increased processing time.
Controls the maximum error (the precision) for the hidden line removal calculations explicitly; the accuracy is therefore not dependent on the size of the view. Lower tolerance values will also produce higher quality output at the expense of increased processing time.
Sets the number of vertical and horizontal lines of the visibility test grid. The given resolution is applied to the longer side of the view.
Sets the amount of memory to set aside for visibility tests. A rule of thumb is to set this to no higher than ¼ of the main (RAM) memory of the computer. Using a larger block of memory may lead to excessive swapping or thrashing as data is moved back and forth between RAM and disk memory.
