Contains controls that are used to set the view and whether to draw rule lines, intersections, or hidden edges.
These controls are available on the Export Visible Edges and Hidden Line Settings dialog boxes.
(Export Visible Edges only) Sets the view that determines the orientation of the visible edges.
(Export Visible Edges only) Sets the boundary of the exported visible edges DGN file.
Selects the method of computing the visible edges or hidden lines:
If on, internal gridding is drawn on surfaces.
Isometric views of teapot: Left: Wireframe in model file. Center: Visible edges DGN file with Rule Lines off. Right: Visible edges DGN file with Rule Lines on.
If on, intersections between elements are automatically calculated.
Calculate Intersections
This significantly increases the time required to generate visible edges. Off is the default.
If off, text and dimensions are displayed without any test for visibility; they show independently of the depth in view. The default is on.
If on, hidden edges are drawn.
Include Hidden Edges | |
The Hidden tab has controls to set the Level, Color, Line Style, or Line Weight of the hidden edges.
(Export Visible Edges only) If on, blended (smooth) edges of two tangent surfaces are not displayed.
(Hidden Line Settings only) If on, edges between smooth edges are displayed. A smooth edge separates two faces with normals parallel along the edge.
The Visible tab has controls to set the Color, Line Style, or Line Weight of the smooth edges.
