Export > Visible Edges

Opens the Export Visible Edges dialog box, which is used to perform hidden edge removal, either to export a view's visible edges to a visible edges design file (recommended in most cases) or to the active design file.

This item is dimmed if the active design file is not 3D.

Visible edges design file creation is much faster if adequate memory is available, especially if the design is large or has many curved surfaces.

Creating a visible edges design file can be time-consuming. For visualization purposes, it is faster to render a hidden line display at screen resolution with the Render tool in the Visualization Tools tool box.
