Modify dialog box

Used to adjust the Origin, Pixel Size/Scale Factor, Rotation and Affinity of an attached raster image file. Opens when Edit > Modify is selected in the Raster Manager dialog box or when the Modify tool is selected in the Raster Control tool box.

Origin X, Y and Z

Sets the location, in working units, of the lower left corner of the selected raster file attachment. The Z field is grayed out when working with 2D images.

Display

This option menu lets you choose between Pixel Size and Scale Factor to set the size of the raster file.

When set to Pixel Size, the size of each pixel is defined by the X and Y fields. Sizes are defined in working units.

When set to Scale Factor, sets the scale factor of the raster image in the format 1:n, and the scanning resolution in dots per inch (DPI).

Rotation

Sets the rotation angle of the raster reference.

Affinity

Sets the affinity angle for the selected raster image.

Take note that Rotation and Affinity values are not applied to image(s) when they are attached with the “Place Interactively” toggle set to ON.
