Conversion Options dialog box

Used to set options for saving a raster file in a different format. Items that appear in this dialog box depend on the format chosen for the file. Opens when the Options button is clicked in the Raster Convert and the Save Raster As dialog boxes.

Resampled

If ON, the converted file(s) are resampled. That is, any rotation, or affinity is removed from the transformation matrixes.

Location Format

Lets you specify, via an option menu, the type of sister file to use for georeference.

If the output file type does not have georeference, such as TIF and PCX, the button contains the following options: None, HGR, World File. Choosing None means that the georeference simply is saved within the attachment. This option is set to World File by default.

If the output file type has georeference and geocoding, such as GeoTIFF and iTIFF, this field does not appear. Similarly, if the output file type has georeference, such as HMR and Intergraph files, this field does not appear.

Colors

Indicates how many colors must be used to construct the palette of the converted file(s). It is initialized with the maximum usable colors.

This field is disabled for binary, RGB and RGBA images.

Tiled

If ON, the converted file(s) are tiled. This field is enabled only for those formats that support tiled files.

Coordinate System

This field displays only if the output file type is GeoTIFF or iTIFF.

Projection

This field displays only if the output file type is GeoTIFF or iTIFF.
