Exporting CGM Data

This section describes how to export CGM data from MicroStation.
To export a CGM file
  1. From the File menu, choose Export > CGM.
    The Save As CGM Drawing File dialog box, which is a standard file selection dialog box, opens.

  2. Select the desired CGM file and directory path, and then click OK.
    The Export CGM File dialog box opens.

  3. To manage the following features, open the desired dialog boxes by choosing the appropriate menu items from the menu bar of the dialog box:
    — settings files
    — log files
    — general import settings
    — text fonts
    — levels
    — line styles
    — weights

  4. To start exporting data, click Export in the Export CGM File dialog box.
    The dialog box closes after exporting is completed.
